1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all services and products provided by NOVITECH FOR TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS L.L.C S.P.C (trading as NoviTech). Refunds are handled case-by-case per the guidelines below.
2. Deposits & Upfront Payments
Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. If cancelled before any work begins and before a kickoff meeting, the full deposit may be refunded at NoviTech's discretion.
3. Milestone-Based Projects
• Payments for completed milestones are non-refundable. • Mid-milestone cancellations: invoiced for work completed. Any overpayment is refunded. • Milestone completion is determined by NoviTech delivering the agreed outputs.
4. Project Cancellation
Upon cancellation: 1. NoviTech prepares a summary of completed work. 2. Client is invoiced at the agreed rate. 3. Deliverables transferred upon final payment. 4. Overpayment refunded within 14 business days.
5. Defects & Warranty
NoviTech provides a warranty period (typically 30 days post-delivery) for bugs caused by our work. Refunds for defects only if: • Reported within the warranty period • Issue is reproducible and caused by our implementation • NoviTech was given a reasonable opportunity to resolve it
6. Digital Products
• Final once accessed or downloaded. • If significantly different from description, full refund within 7 days. • Requests via novitech.ae/en/contact within 7 days of purchase.
7. Mobile Apps & Games
For apps distributed via App Store or Google Play: • Refunds subject to the platform's own policies. • NoviTech cannot process refunds for third-party store purchases. • Directly-sold licenses follow standard refund terms.
8. Non-Refundable Items
Never eligible for refunds: • Third-party costs (domains, hosting, APIs, licenses, app store fees) • Rush or expedited delivery fees • Completed and approved milestones • Consultations already conducted • Work delayed due to client inaction
9. How to Request a Refund
Contact us via novitech.ae/en/contact with: • Your name and project/order reference • The specific payment in question • A clear description of the reason We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 10 business days.
10. Governing Law
This policy is governed by UAE law. Disputes are subject to UAE jurisdiction.
